Broad Clinical Labs

For Broad Clinical Labs, I was entrusted with the complete development of their new look and feel in WordPress using Elementor, ensuring pixel-perfect execution based on multiple Adobe XD files provided to me. This project presented several challenges, primarily due to the complex design elements and the need for different visual layouts on mobile devices.

Key Aspects of the Project:

• Pixel-Perfect Development: I meticulously translated the Adobe XD designs into a fully functional WordPress site, achieving pixel-perfect precision. This required careful attention to detail to ensure that every element matched the design specifications exactly.
• Fluid Section Designs: The pages featured multiple background elements that created a sense of fluidity between sections. Implementing these seamlessly was crucial to maintaining the intended user experience.
• Responsive Design for Scientific Charts: Many pages included scientific charts that required significant layout adjustments for mobile devices. I developed heavily modified mobile versions of these pages to ensure optimal readability and usability across all devices.
• Advanced Content Organization: To manage the content effectively, I utilized Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Custom Post Types. This approach allowed for organized and flexible content management, exemplified by the Leadership page.
• Collaborative Work Sessions: Throughout the project, I participated in numerous live work sessions with account managers and the art team. These sessions, conducted entirely in English, were essential for addressing challenges and speeding up the development process. Collaborative brainstorming and real-time feedback helped streamline workflows and ensure the project stayed on track.

Results:

The newly developed Broad Clinical Labs website boasts a modern, fluid design that aligns perfectly with the original Adobe XD files. The responsive layouts for scientific charts and other elements ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across both desktop and mobile devices. The use of ACF and Custom Post Types facilitates efficient content management, empowering the client to update and maintain their site with ease. The collaborative approach with the account managers and art team significantly contributed to the project’s success, demonstrating effective teamwork and communication.
